Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Clinician to join our team. As a Primary Care Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care and support to our diverse patient population.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, create personalized care plans and health screenings. This includes GPMP, TCA, 715, and 75+ health assessments.
  • Assist medical practitioners during consultations and procedures.
  • Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.
  • Provide patient education on various health conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Supervise and manage supplies, including immunizations and medical equipment.
  • Work closely with Enrolled Nurses, supporting GPs and allied health professionals in their roles.

Requirements:
  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in general practice and proficiency in Best Practice software is an advantage.
  • A strong understanding of Medicare billing principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in primary healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
