As a key contributor to our organization, the Events and Missions Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Queensland and our global partnerships.

This position reports directly to the Manager, Events and Missions, offering a unique opportunity to coordinate diverse events, flagship programs, and support the planning of ministerial-led trade and investment missions to international markets. Based in Brisbane, this role involves:

  • SUPPORTING THE PLANNING, DELIVERY AND EVALUATION OF VARIOUS EVENTS AND MINISTERIAL MISSIONS.
  • PROVIDING TIMELY ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TO THE EVENTS AND MISSIONS TEAM.
  • PREPARING AND MONITORING CORRESPONDENCE, GUIDELINES AND PROJECT PLANS TO SUPPORT EVENT AND MISSION DELIVERY – INCLUDING AGENDAS, MINUTES, ACTION LISTS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND TIMELINES.
  • ASSISTING WITH THE PREPARATION OF PRESENTATIONS, DOCUMENTS AND REPORTS – INCLUDING RUN SHEETS AND BRIEFING PACKS.
  • UTILIZING VARIOUS EVENT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE, SYSTEMS AND TOOLS TO MAXIMIZE EFFICIENCIES AND PROJECT PLANNING.
