Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our service team, you will engage in a variety of tasks across general maintenance, extensive repairs, and specialized services for our fleet. Your role will encompass working on a range of vehicles including Volvo, Mack, and UD models, with opportunities to delve into both mechanical and electrical systems, including our innovative Hybrid buses.

Your Core Duties
  1. Conduct repairs, servicing, and inspections on engines, transmissions, braking systems, differentials, and more for a diverse fleet of trucks and buses.
  2. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to perform thorough assessments and troubleshooting.
  3. Document all maintenance activities clearly, including parts used and recommendations for future service in an organized manner.
  4. Mentor and support apprentice mechanics and other team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Possession of a minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Trade.
  2. Experience in the heavy vehicle sector, particularly with American, European, or Japanese drivetrains, is advantageous but not mandatory.
  3. Ability to work independently while contributing to a customer-oriented team.
  4. A current HC/HR driver's license is beneficial but not required.
  5. Demonstrated pride in workmanship with a focus on achieving high standards and targets.
  6. Strong motivation, reliability, and a positive, proactive attitude.
  7. Excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to safety in the workplace.
  8. Personal tools are required, with specialized equipment available from our in-house tool room.
