Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across various service areas, including general maintenance, extensive repairs, and specialized bus services. Your daily tasks will involve servicing a diverse range of Volvo, Mack, and UD vehicles, from initial delivery inspections to comprehensive repairs and advanced electrical diagnostics, including hybrid systems. Main Duties Include:
  1. Conducting repairs, servicing, and inspections on engines, transmissions, braking systems, differentials, and more for a variety of trucks and buses.
  2. Utilizing cutting-edge diagnostic tools and software for accurate fault analysis.
  3. Creating detailed reports that outline all work performed, including parts used and prioritized recommendations.
  4. Offering mentorship and support to apprentice mechanics and other team members.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  1. Possession of a minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Trade.
  2. Experience in the heavy vehicle sector, particularly with American, European, or Japanese drivetrains, is highly valued.
  3. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a customer-oriented team.
  4. A current HC/HR driver's license is advantageous but not mandatory.
  5. Demonstrated pride in workmanship, with a focus on achieving targets and maintaining high standards.
  6. Strong motivation, reliability, and a positive, proactive attitude.
  7. Effective communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  8. Personal tools are required, with specialized equipment available from our in-house tool room.
