We are seeking a highly motivated and driven General Insurance Broking Account Manager or Account Executive to join our dynamic team, contributing to the continued success of our global operations.
The Role:
You will be at the forefront of identifying and converting new business opportunities across various sectors, ensuring exceptional service and support throughout the sales process. Your primary responsibility will be to foster relationships with potential clients and brokers, leveraging market research, referrals, and networking to create a robust pipeline of new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify and target potential clients to secure new business and drive profitable growth.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand their insurance needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Work closely with technical teams to develop and present competitive insurance proposals, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Negotiate and lead deals with clients, brokers, and insurers to secure new business.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging risks to identify opportunities for new products and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transition from new business development to account management.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in general insurance broking, with a focus on new business growth.
- Strong understanding of the insurance market, products, and solutions, with experience across commercial sectors.
- Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a proactive, results-driven approach to business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
