Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance professional to join our team as a Test Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading quality assurance efforts within an Agile scrum team, ensuring robust test coverage and effective defect management.

This is a fixed-term contract position based in Sydney or Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead quality assurance efforts within an Agile scrum team.
  • Ensure robust test coverage and effective defect management.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to the SAFe Agile environment.
  • Create, review, and execute test cases, managing defects efficiently in Jira.
  • Analyze test results, report defects promptly, and proactively minimize production issues by ensuring robust test coverage.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2+ years of EFTPOS payments testing experience.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and SDLC.
  • Good knowledge in card payment standards (ISO 8583, AS2805).
  • Experience with scheme certifications (Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, UPI, etc.).
  • Proficiency of requirements analysis, test planning, and test environment setup.
  • Proficiency test case creation, test execution, defect management, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira and X-Ray.
  • A team player with a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a 'can-do' attitude, capable of working collaboratively under tight deadlines.
