Job Title: Allocator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Allocator to join our Concrete Contact Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the dispatch, utilisation and timely delivery of our Concrete trucks.

  • Manage orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Work with team members & Production to maximise service
  • Ensure Drivers are kept up to date on job requirements and daily schedule
  • Notify stakeholders of deviations to schedule or late delivery
  • Comply with driver Fatigue management, statutory requirements and company health & safety
  • A keen eye for detail

About the Role

Schedule Coordination

The primary responsibility of the Allocator is to coordinate the scheduling of Concrete trucks to meet customer orders. This involves working closely with the Production team to ensure efficient delivery of products to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate the dispatch of Concrete trucks to ensure timely delivery of products
  2. Manage orders and schedules to meet customer demands
  3. Work collaboratively with team members to resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues
  4. Ensure accurate and timely communication with drivers and stakeholders regarding job requirements and schedules
  5. Monitor and report on driver fatigue levels and other relevant metrics

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in scheduling or dispatch in real-time
  • Demonstrated customer service and solution-focused mindset
  • Proficiency with navigating multiple systems
  • Well-developed problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and work in a high-pressure environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
