Job Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity to plan and schedule work based on our manufacturing capacity, ensuring fluid production, efficient resource utilization, and meeting customer commitments. As a Production Scheduler, you will prepare daily production schedules and arrange delivery runs by liaising with customers directly.

You will be part of a professional team where customer service is at the forefront of every interaction. In this fast-paced role, you will need to be confident in customer interactions, sometimes managing difficult conversations to troubleshoot solutions related to production constraints and timings, improving the customer experience, and meeting their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain production schedules, ensuring timely order completion based on customer demand, material availability, and capacity constraints.
  • Work in partnership with customers, sales, production, and logistics for any order-related matters, providing support and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Address capacity issues, communicating lead-time changes.

About You

This role will suit someone with strong customer service and administration skills or previous rostering or scheduling experience, along with a keenness to learn and a good attitude to participate in extensive training. You should be agile, methodical, with highly developed interpersonal skills, able to adapt your communication style to meet the needs of builder customers.

Requirements:

Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks.Able to work calmly and efficiently with tight deadlines.Enthusiasm to work in a rapidly changing and challenging manufacturing environment.Data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.Competency using MS Suite, ability to quickly gain competency with in-house systems.
