Key Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct standardised and non-standardised functional assessments to evaluate clients' abilities.
• Deliver therapy programs that support clients to meet their NDIS goals, promoting independence and quality of life.
• Provide Functional Capacity Assessments, prescribe equipment, and recommend home modifications to facilitate optimal living conditions.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individual therapy interventions to achieve meaningful outcomes.
• Work closely with clients, families, and support staff to develop achievable goals, ensuring a collaborative approach.
• Educate clients and their support networks on therapy techniques, equipment uses, and environmental adjustments to enhance their understanding.
• Document all clinical work and communications in accordance with professional and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration with other allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Main Qualifications and Competencies:
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, demonstrating academic excellence.
• Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency), upholding professional standards.
• Current First Aid Certificate, ensuring immediate response to emergencies.
• Valid Driver's Licence, facilitating transportation to client sites.
