Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to cover a part-time position at our hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients to facilitate independence in daily activities and quality of life
  • Discharge planning, including home visits, provision of aids/modifications, and referral to other services as required
  • Referral of patients to groups or other disciplines within the hospital
  • Liaise with other team members regarding patient care and therapy time tabling
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and eligibility to join AAOT
  • Full registration with AHPRA
  • Neurological Rehabilitation experience preferred
