Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide person-centred NDIS allied health services to clients of all ages. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, and community settings.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • SIL Assessments: Conduct assessments to determine individuals' ability to live independently and develop strategies to promote self-sufficiency.
  • Sensory Assessments: Evaluate clients' sensory needs and develop plans to support their participation in daily activities.
  • Assistive Technology (AT) Assessments: Identify assistive technology solutions to enhance clients' independence and quality of life.
  • Home Modifications Assessments: Conduct assessments to identify home modifications that can support clients' mobility and accessibility needs.
  • Functional Daily Living Skills Assessments: Evaluate clients' ability to perform daily living tasks and develop strategies to improve their skills.
  • Environmental Risk Assessments: Identify potential risks in clients' environments and develop plans to mitigate these risks.
  • Skill building and ongoing therapy: Develop and implement treatment plans to support clients' skill development and ongoing therapy needs.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain one
