Funeral Services Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Funeral Services Coordinator to join our team at InvoCare. As a key member of our funeral services team, you will play a vital role in supporting families during a difficult time.
Key Responsibilities- Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, visitors, and telephone enquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, preparing letters, and presentations.
- Funeral Arrangements: Assist with funeral arrangements, including receiving payments, issuing accounts, and associated correspondence.
- Service Coordination: Identify service requirements with sensitivity to client grief, beliefs, traditions, and rituals, and coordinate with service providers as needed.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of funeral arrangements, including documentation and correspondence.
- Experience: Previous experience in a service-driven organization, preferably in the funeral industry.
- Skills: Competent keyboard/computing and telephone operating skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both in-person and on the telephone.
- Personal Qualities: Be people-oriented, sensitive to grieving people, and possess a level of comfort working with the deceased.
- Education and Certifications: Current status as a Justice of the Peace or eligibility to become certified.
