Home Care Assistant

We are seeking a Home Care Assistant to join our team. As a Home Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 months experience in a similar professional role, preferably in aged care. You will be required to provide personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day, assisting clients to take their medications, assisting with mobility and therapy goals, and providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.

You will also be responsible for providing social and emotional support, helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things, and providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Australian Driver's Licence & own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in aged care
