About the Role

This is a fixed-term position requiring an experienced tax professional to join our team.

You'll play a pivotal role in supporting strategic initiatives, ensuring tax compliance and managing reporting obligations.

Reporting to a senior manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing tax advice on income tax and indirect tax matters and projects
  • Reviewing and lodging corporate tax obligations for operations and entities
  • Leading tax reporting excellence through monthly accounting positions, ensuring stakeholders receive comprehensive tax information
  • Assisting with adhering to tax revenue authority compliance activity including reviews and audits

About You

Applicants will have experience demonstrating capability in the following areas:

  • Proven experience helping understand business context behind numbers and contributing meaningfully from day one
  • Navigating complex tax concepts and applying this knowledge practically to support business operations
  • Proficiency with SAP, Excel, and other platforms making efficient data management possible
  • Seasoned professionals with substantial experience in large corporate environments developing expertise and business acumen
  • Attention to detail catching small things matter and taking pride in delivering accurate work others depend on
  • Combining technical expertise with practical business sense executing tasks contributing to broader team success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Law
