Hospitality Team Leader

IRT is investing in our leadership capability, creating an exciting opportunity to lead the planning, ordering, preparation and compliance of site-based food service, laundry and cleaning operations.

About the Role

We are looking to appoint interested and enthusiastic individuals to work in our Aged Care Centers at IRT Dalmeny. The role includes leading, mentoring and supervising hospitality employees, ensuring food safety documentation is complete and that all work practices meet HACCP requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning, ordering and overseeing the preparation of all meals (complying with resident dietary requirements)
  • Ensuring food deliveries are received and processed in accordance with IRT's food safety plan
  • Monitoring the cleaning contractor team members to ensure cleaning standards are met
  • Managing and delivering hospitality services that meet Aged Care Quality Standards and are in line with IRT's policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Hospitality (or similar)
  • Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or willingness to obtain)
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Sound verbal, written, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving, negotiating and organisational skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritise own work and/or work of others to meet deadlines
