Technical Producer Role Overview

A key player in software development, the Technical Producer oversees passionate technical teams to create meaningful products and experiences for players and developers alike. They drive project progress, clear obstacles, and ensure a sustainable work environment.

This role involves collaborating with engineers, quality assurance specialists, release managers, and other teams to deliver high-quality updates that support global and regional objectives. The Technical Producer will define and refine delivery pipelines, tools, and processes, lead execution of release operations, and serve as the operational face of the product.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Leading day-to-day execution for the Release Engineering team.
  • Facilitating Agile rituals and maintaining cadence and delivery clarity.
  • Supporting incident triage and escalation workflows to ensure release stability.
  • Collaborating with Tech Leads and Product Managers to translate strategy into executable plans.
  • Championing continuous improvement in team processes and performance.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and experience as a Producer, Project Manager, or Development Manager.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, have experience managing execution for software or game teams, and possess strong stakeholder management skills across cultures and organizations.
