Job Title: Technical Server Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Server Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing efficient multiplayer gaming server solutions using c#/DotNet.

The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience working with c#/DotNet in a relevant multiplayer project, and a strong understanding of supporting technologies such as socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.

They will also have experience working in a gaming environment, preferably with Unity, and knowledge of cloud hosting and deployment, preferably AWS.

In addition, the candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, exceptional English language skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop efficient multiplayer gaming server solutions in c#/DotNet.
  • In conjunction with Unity experts, debug and enhance Unity integration with the server.
  • In conjunction with hosting/infrastructure experts, develop and maintain solutions to deploy and update the solutions.
  • Cooperate with PHP experts in developing API and reporting solutions to support the multiplayer servers.
  • Possess knowledge of multiplayer concepts and identify and resolve concurrency, locking, queues, and race conditions.
Requirements
  • Over 2 years of experience working with c#/DotNet in a relevant multiplayer project.
  • Strong understanding of supporting technologies; socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.
  • Experience working in a gaming environment, preferably with Unity.
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting and deployment, preferably AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
