Job Title: Multiplayer Gaming Server Developer
We are seeking a skilled Multiplayer Gaming Server Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with C# / .NET and multiplayer gaming server solutions.
The chosen professional will work closely with Unity experts, hosting/infrastructure experts, and PHP experts to develop efficient multiplayer gaming server solutions in C#/DotNet.
Develop scalable multiplayer gaming server solutions using C# 10+, DotNet Standard 2, and DotNet 6+.
Collaborate with Unity experts to debug and enhance Unity integration with the server.
Work with hosting/infrastructure experts to design and maintain deployment and update solutions primarily using AWS cloud deployment.
Assist PHP experts in developing API and reporting solutions to support multiplayer servers.
Requirements:
Over 2 years of experience working with C#/DotNet in a relevant multiplayer project.
Proficiency in supporting technologies including socket connections (TCP and UDP), data compression, encryption, etc.
Experience working in a gaming environment, preferably having developed solutions in Unity.
Experience with cloud hosting and deployment, primarily using AWS.
Knowledge of source control, preferably GIT, and JIRA.
Preferably knowledge of MySQL, Memcached, and Redis.
Desirable Skills:
Great problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence in communicating ideas, solutions, and issues in a fast-paced team.
Open-mindedness towards researching, using, and implementing new technologies.
Good time estimation of effort.
