Senior Compliance Specialist

The role of the Senior Regulatory Officer is pivotal in supporting the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority by consistently and fairly applying relevant early childhood education and care legislation, standards, policies and guidelines in the regulation of the ECEC sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out regulatory activities and make recommendations that support the Regulatory Authority to undertake its functions under the legislation and in accordance with the principles of good administrative decision making.
- Provide recommendations informed by data, analysis of evidence and accurate interpretation of the legislation.
- Identify and respond to risk in the ECEC sector through application of risk-based decision making in accordance with the legislation.
- A thorough understanding of early childhood education and care legislation, standards, policies and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a full-time opportunity with a seniority level of mid-senior. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory affairs and be able to apply their knowledge and skills to support the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority.
