About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated EHS Compliance Specialist to lead safety efforts on a major construction project in Townsville. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving EHS performance, providing technical insights to identify issues and trends, monitoring compliance with staff and subcontractors, and implementing safety and training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prior experience in a Safety Coordinator/Advisor or EHS related position from within the construction industry.
  • Experience working on site on a commercial and/or residential construction project.
  • Understanding and knowledge of local legal and regulatory health and safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of safe working systems, legislation, rules, and procedures.
  • Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders.
