Job Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished business valuation professional to conduct valuations of businesses for a variety of purposes, including mortgage security, compensation claims, family law settlements, share buyouts, accounting, price setting and business performance and planning.

About the Role

The successful candidate will engage with diverse clients including financial institutions, business owners, solicitors, and other professional service providers. The role will involve conducting valuations using various methodologies, liaising with clients to gather necessary information, attending business inspections, analysing financial statements, market data, and industry trends, constructing, reviewing and amending financial models, preparing detailed valuation reports, and assisting in client meetings and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough valuations of businesses, utilising multiple evaluation methods
  • Maintain open communication with clients to acquire required information for analysis
  • Attend on-site business inspections
  • Analyse financial records, market data, and industry trends to determine valuation inputs
  • Develop, review and refine financial models
  • Compile detailed valuation reports
  • Support client meetings and presentations, providing expert valuation insights and recommendations

Requirements

  • Business valuation and/or financial analysis experience
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accounting knowledge
  • Dedication to developing skills and working towards certification
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues
