Job Summary

The primary objective of this role is to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of food service units, ensuring seamless delivery of services and production.

A successful candidate will possess a college diploma in hospitality or a related field, accompanied by three years of relevant experience within the food service industry.

This position involves managing costs to stay within budget, resolving customer requests and complaints, monitoring compliance with quality assurance and health & safety policies, and developing unit staff to achieve business objectives.

We are seeking an exceptional leader who can provide direction, guidance, and coaching to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the daily operations of food service units, including delegating tasks and providing guidance to employees.
  • Coordinate employee scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and meet service expectations.
  • Manage costs to maintain a healthy bottom line and make informed financial decisions.
  • Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and maintain a positive relationship with customers.
  • Monitor compliance with quality assurance and health & safety policies, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Foster a positive work environment by coaching, developing, and motivating unit staff to achieve business goals.
