Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing family-centered plans that cater to the unique needs of each child and their family
  • Providing coaching and guidance on parenting strategies and life skills, promoting healthy relationships and outcomes
  • Connecting families with community resources, education, and employment pathways, enhancing their overall well-being
  • Conducting home visits and engaging in early intervention strategies to improve safety and wellbeing outcomes
  • Working closely with Child Safety and other government and community stakeholders to deliver wrap-around support
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and case notes in line with legislative and organisational requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV in Community Services, Youth/Social Work, or a related field
  • Experience working with young people and families, preferably in a related field such as Family Support, Child Safety, or Family Development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with families and stakeholders
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn and grow
