As a dedicated professional, you will play a vital role in supporting foster and kinship carers to achieve placement goals for children and young people. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of service users, delivering out-of-home care placement and post-placement supervision services.

Key responsibilities include providing support to foster and kinship carers, recruiting and assessing carers, and participating in assessment processes. You will also contribute to investigations of allegations against carers as part of safeguarding responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You will bring a strong background in child protection, trauma and attachment, positive behaviour support, and child development. Your experience working with Indigenous and culturally diverse families and communities is highly valued. A relevant tertiary qualification or substantial years of relevant experience are essential.
