Job Title: Child and Family Psychologist
About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding position for a dedicated professional to work with Aboriginal children and families in a remote region of Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Child and Family Psychologist, you will conduct psychological assessments and provide one-to-one support to children and parents using an evidence-based therapeutic approach. You will also work closely with other professionals to develop care plans and interventions tailored to the needs of each family.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Psychology Degree: An undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in psychology is essential for this role.
- Mental Health Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience working in mental health, preferably with children and families.
- Registration: Registration with the relevant authorities to practice psychology is required.
- Driver's Licence: A current driver's licence is essential for travel between sites.
