The Workday Functional SME is a critical position that drives the effective implementation and enhancement of Workday's capabilities in managing compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive project plans, defining workstream objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Workstream Leadership: Lead functional workstreams, allocate tasks, and ensure timely delivery in line with project goals and deadlines.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress, adjust plans as necessary, and ensure milestones are met within scope and budget.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work with project teams, SMEs, and stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Process Design: Develop and document business processes related to compensation and talent within Workday, ensuring clear communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Leverage Workday's analytics and reporting tools to assess compensation equity, ensure compliance, and evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs.
