Key Role Overview

Senior Design Manager is a critical leadership position at our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the design of complex transport infrastructure projects, particularly major road projects.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans.
  • Procure work, negotiate contracts, and ensure positive financial and technical outcomes for projects.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, contractors, and subconsultants.
  • Oversee and coordinate design teams across multiple disciplines and offices to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Recognized tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Significant experience in design management of major transport infrastructure projects.

  • Expertise in relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
