Transport Infrastructure Specialist

A transport infrastructure specialist is required to lead general civil work, including road design and urban precinct planning projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have significant experience in transport infrastructure and will be responsible for delivering key transport design services on various transport projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead general civil work, including road design and urban precinct planning projects
  • Act as project manager/technical lead on a range of projects, including business development practices, proposal writing, and bidding for civil infrastructure projects
  • Work closely with engineers across Australia, delivering key transport design services on various transport infrastructure projects
  • Partake in team leader responsibilities, managing, training, and mentoring junior team members
  • Actively participate in business and strategic planning activities for the team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

The following skills and qualifications are highly desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with RPEQ
  • 12+ years of experience in a consultancy, local council, or state government department
  • Extensive design and/or project management experience with state government or local council civil infrastructure and transport projects
  • Proven knowledge of Australian Standards and a track record of applying technical knowledge when delivering projects
