About the Role:

As a Production Team Leader at Endeavour Foundation, your purpose is to empower employees with disabilities to achieve their vocational goals through approved work, training, and assessment practices. This role is crucial in meeting the commercial outcomes of our work sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the skills of supported employees, ensuring they meet NDIS requirements and contribute to commercial success.
  • Liaise with management to ensure timely delivery of outcomes and deadlines.
  • Oversee production processes to meet customer expectations regarding quality, delivery timeframes, and business requirements.
  • Engage in the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient setup, production, and shutdown of equipment.
  • Apply quality controls to ensure production meets customer requirements.

About You:

  • You will have experience working as a Support Worker or in disability services, with a strong understanding of NDIS requirements.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.
  • You will be comfortable operating production machinery and equipment.
  • Supervising a large production team is essential.
  • You are a people person with excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and resilience.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills are necessary to guide employees through their daily tasks and empower them to reach their full potential.
  • Physical fitness is required due to the demands of the role.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.
  • Basic skills with MS Office applications are required.
  • A driver's license, Forklift ticket, and truck license are advantageous.
  • A Blue card and NDIS Screening card are mandatory, or you must be willing to obtain them.
  • Fit2Work clearance is also required (at your own expense).
