About the Role

As a Production Team Leader at Endeavour Foundation, your primary objective is to optimize the vocational opportunities of employees through effective work, training, and assessment practices. This will enable the achievement of commercial outcomes at Endeavour Foundation work sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Development: Ensure supported employees are provided with opportunities to enhance their skills, while meeting NDIS requirements and commercial outcomes for the site.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with management to ensure outcomes and deadlines are met, and maintain open communication with the team.
  • Quality and Efficiency: Ensure production meets commercial customer expectations regarding quality, delivery time frames, and business requirements.
  • Manufacturing Process: Engage in the manufacturing process, ensuring appropriate setup, production, and shutdown of equipment.
  • Quality Control: Apply quality controls during the manufacturing process to ensure production and quality align with customer requirements.
About You
  • Experience and Skills: Ideally, you will have experience working as a Support Worker or in disability services. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
  • Leadership and Supervision: You will be comfortable operating production machinery and equipment, and have experience supervising a large production team.
  • Personal Qualities: You are a true people person who is patient, empathetic, and resilient. You possess coaching and mentoring skills to help guide employees through their daily tasks and empower them to live their best lives.
  • Physical and Mental Demands: You are physically fit due to the demands of the role, and have excellent communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.
  • Technical Skills: You have moderate skills with MS Office applications, and a driver's license, forklift ticket, and truck license are advantageous.
  • Certifications and Clearances: You hold a Blue card and NDIS Screening card, or are willing to obtain them. Fit2Work clearance is mandatory.
