This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a lawyer advising on complex matters and will possess excellent communication and analytical skills.

The role involves conducting research, drafting documents, and assisting with investigations and court proceedings.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and legal policy advice on complex issues relating to consumer protection and competition law.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex data to inform advice and recommendations.
  • Assist with the conduct of investigations and court proceedings, including drafting and submitting documents.
  • Requirements:
  • Admission as a practitioner of the High Court or Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory.
  • Experience working effectively as a lawyer advising and guiding line areas under tight timeframes.
  • Experience advising in relation to Part IV of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 would be an advantage but is not essential.

Salary: $95,374 - $111,590 (plus 15.4% superannuation)
