Senior Environmental Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to join our energy team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the bid and project delivery of national New Energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental management plans, procedures, and tools aligned with company systems.
  • Oversee daily environmental tasks based on project risk levels to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
  • Provide technical advice and assist with securing environmental approvals during bids and project phases.
  • Promote environmental awareness and build capability across project teams through guidance and collaboration.
  • Coordinate monitoring and reporting, including sustainability metrics, site inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Engage with stakeholders such as project teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain strong environmental standards.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of environmental legislation and approval processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Proactively looking to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
