Housekeeping Department Manager

As a key member of our team, the Housekeeping Department Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the housekeeping department at one of our hotels in Perth. We are seeking an experienced leader with excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with people.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that the housekeeping team maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and hotel public areas.

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Establish and implement operational procedures and standards to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping practices.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Manage the hiring, rostering, and performance of employees within the housekeeping team.

  • Training and Development:

    • Train and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

  • Planning and Coordination:

    • Plan and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team to ensure seamless operations.

  • Financial Management:

    • Set and adhere to budget controls to optimize resources and minimize waste.

  • Collaboration:

    • Collaborate closely with other departments to maintain a high level of quality and presentation throughout the hotel.

We are seeking a professional with strong leadership and customer service skills who is passionate about delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role.
  • Leadership experience and excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
