Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Folder Gluer Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating folder gluer machines, adjusting glue systems, and monitoring production runs to ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate folder gluer machines (Bobst, Jagenberg, Omega, or similar)
  • Adjust glue systems (cold glue, hot melt) for consistent application
  • Monitor production runs and perform in-process inspections
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance
  • Follow job specifications and meet daily production targets
  • Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience operating folder gluer equipment in a packaging or converting environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up, adjust, and perform minor repairs
  • Familiarity with substrates like paperboard and corrugate
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a production environment
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Dependable with a positive attitude and flexibility for overtime as needed
