Coffee Shop Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coffee Shop Operations Manager to lead our team and drive business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the coffee shop operation, including staff management, inventory control, customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of baristas to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Create a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring product quality and freshness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the store.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the coffee industry.
  • Solid knowledge of fast-paced takeaway style food and drink.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, calm, and driven to create a strong and happy team.
  • Hands-on experience and well-versed in the world of coffee - hot and cold.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven experience of managing rosters, KPIs, and costs.
  • Proven ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • A passion for coffee and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
