About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Centre Manager to lead headspace teams across Darwin and Palmerston sites. You will ensure the service delivers high-quality early intervention youth mental health services to young people aged 12-25 within the headspace model of evidence based best practice.

You will provide support to Clinical Leads and senior staff to ensure effective model delivery, clinical governance, and adherence to reporting requirements.

You will actively seek to engage, collaborate, and strengthen key partnerships with service providers in the region that supports the four key pillars of the headspace primary services model.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • An approved tertiary qualification (Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Registered Nurse)
  • An effective leader with minimum 5 years experience providing leadership to multidisciplinary teams within a clinical mental health setting.
  • A passion for youth mental health and keen interest in service improvement, access, and cultural safety of mental health services
  • Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations.
