Job Overview

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our organization in the role of HSE Business Partner. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

  • The HSE Business Partner will partner with delivery teams, providing advice, support and leadership to ensure a safe workplace and compliance with Service Stream HSE requirements.
  • They will lead by example, modeling the Service Stream Safety Value and expected safety behaviours, consistently adhering to company safety rules and requirements.
  • They will involve others, providing leadership and support to consultation, communication and collaboration processes, encouraging people to report and discuss HSE matters and be involved in improvements/solutions.
  • The HSE Business Partner will demonstrate care and commitment, maintaining a high field-based presence verifying safety processes and controls, completing inspections and interactions, and modeling the Service Stream Walk Talk Lead Care safety model.
  • They will implement Service Stream Group HSE Framework and align project specific HSE documentation, materials and resources to comply with the Framework and manage risks and controls.
  • They will lead event incident investigations, identifying learning opportunities and corrective actions.
  • Support Injury Management and Return to Work processes.

 

About You

  • A highly desirable candidate would have an electrical trade and genuine interest or experience in a safety role.
  • A desirable candidate would have worked in a safety role in the electrical industry or an electrical focused organization or an Electrical Graduate interested in developing safety experience/career.
  • Experience in a similar HSE leadership role within infrastructure maintenance, construction, civil works, or mining industries.
  • Working knowledge of legislation, standards, codes of practice, and ISO Standards 45001, 14001, 9001; and the Office of the federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC) Accreditation.
  • Strong communication skills including proficient use of Microsoft Programs.
  • Qualifications Required.
  • A relevant qualification in WHS/Environment.
  • Valid current Australian Full Driver's Licence.
