Electrical Safety and Compliance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrical safety professional to lead our national efforts in ensuring electrical safety and compliance.

About the Role

  • Develop, implement and regularly review electrical policies, procedures and processes to ensure alignment with relevant regulations;
  • Conduct electrical safety audits and verify that electrical safety requirements are being met;
  • Provide expert advice and support on electrical design, installations, operations and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment;
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical licenses, registrations and equipment;
  • Evaluate and endorse risk assessments related to electrical safety to minimize risks and ensure compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional registration as an Electrical Engineer or licensed industrial electrician;
  • Extensive knowledge of Australian State and Territory Electrical and Occupational Health & Safety legislation and regulations;
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with strong analytical skills;
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
