The role involves working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully, preparing advice, reports, and proposals to clients, and developing effective relationships with key stakeholders.
As an Environmental Scientist / Engineer at AECOM Darwin, you will play a key role in supporting a vast array of interesting and diverse projects across defence, government, mining and the oil and gas sectors.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including environmental impact assessments, strategic assessments, and environmental management plans. You will also have the chance to mentor junior members of the team and contribute to the development of effective relationships with key stakeholders.
You will be responsible for preparing and managing timely and high-quality environmental impact assessments, constraints analyses, strategic assessments, and environmental management plans. You will also assist in the organisation of resources, budgets, and timelines for the management of these projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation and approval frameworks, as well as commercial acumen and emotional intelligence to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients. You will be a strong team player, influencer, and collaborator who can translate technical information into accessible language in your written work and other communications.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
