About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Administrator to join our team at Bell Textron Inc. as a Corporate Services Manager. This is a full-time, ongoing role located in Coffs Harbour, NSW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management:
    • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll administration, banking, and cash flow management.
    • Reconcile financial records to third-party statements and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
    • Prepare financial reports and collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
    • Administer tax liabilities and payments, and maintain credit terms and conditions.
    • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and provide insights to support cost-effective decision making.
  • Office Administration:
    • Oversee office operations, coordinate meetings, and provide administrative assistance to the General Manager and various departments.
  • HR Support:
    • Assist in HR-related tasks, including leave and superannuation legislative compliance, maintaining employee records, and supporting recruitment efforts.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, tax requirements, and statutory filings.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and implement best practices for enhanced efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a proficient Bookkeeper, preferably at a senior level, with expertise in managing financial records and generating reports.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources.
  • Proficient in the use of MYOB AR and advanced computer skills in the use of Excel and the MS Office suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle office management duties effectively, with a strong sense of time management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting and tax laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
  • A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field will be an advantage.
