Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Store Operations Manager to lead our team at General Pants in Canberra.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will lead their passionate and committed team to create a customer-driven culture in-store and work together to achieve goals.
  • You will be responsible for all store operations to ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving outcomes and results through effective skills and behaviours.
  • Analyzing sales and stock sell-through reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Mentoring and developing the team to achieve success and inspire them to grow their journey with General Pants.
  • Managing the team's workload, workflow, time management, and ultimate delivery through strong accountability and goal setting.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of management experience in a retail environment.
  • A genuine love and understanding of fashion and our brands.
  • The ability to confidently lead, motivate, and engage the team.
  • Proven experience and success in coaching and developing teams and individuals.
  • A proven track record of driving and exceeding sales targets and budgets.
  • Sound knowledge and proven success in retail ops including budgets, wages, rostering, visual merchandising, stock management, and shrinkage.
  • Must have full Australian working rights.
