Front Office Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Front Office Manager to join our team in Port Douglas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the resort, interacting with owners and guests, as well as all resort departments, the community, and the corporate office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and inspire the front office team.
  • Direct and promote a good working relationship between the various resort departments encouraging teamwork.
  • Lead the recruitment, hiring, and training of all staff to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
  • Assist the Resort Manager with planning, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven management abilities.
  • Availability and flexibility to meet with clients to ensure the highest standards are met and maintained.
  • Demonstrated experience in motivating, inspiring, training, coaching, and disciplining employees.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proven ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace.
  • Ability to multitask and work productively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Experience in Resort Hospitality Management.
