The ACT Government seeks a high-performing leader to manage the ministerial office.

This role involves long-term strategic planning, operational leadership, and day-to-day management of government business. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in team management, policy development, and communication.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a high-performing team and implementing effective systems and processes
  • Developing and implementing long-term plans, strategies, and policies
  • Providing expert advice on complex policy issues to the Minister
  • Coordinating government and legislative assembly business, including legislation
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and culture
  • Providing briefings, speeches, media support, and other outputs for the Minister

The successful candidate will work closely with other leaders, policy advisers, and media advisers to support the ACT Executive.
