Auditorium Support Specialist

The AVI-SPL Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and technical support to clients at on-site locations. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
  • Perform preventative maintenance visits to ensure stable client-based systems
  • Clean and maintain various AV equipment, including camera lenses, monitors, and equipment fans
  • Troubleshoot video matrices, projectors, displays, audio DSPs, and control systems
  • Setup and troubleshoot various video codecs/video teleconferencing systems
  • Field installation of control programs (AMX / Crestron/Firmware) – upload and download capability
  • Field service support of networked devices (Routers, IP Protocols, etc.)
  • Provide necessary training and support for next level service technicians
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of audiovisual integration experience preferred
  • Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
  • Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards
Physical Demands:
  • Lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
  • Work in small spaces and on uneven surfaces
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently
