Casual Relief Teaching Opportunities

As a casual relief teacher at Braemar College, you will have the opportunity to teach committed students in a co-educational setting. Your role will involve undertaking replacement classes and duties for absent teachers, providing quality learning and teaching experiences for students, and participating in student wellbeing programs if required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake replacement classes and or duties for absent colleagues.
  • Provide high-quality learning and teaching experiences for students.
  • Participate in student wellbeing programs if required.
  • Be prepared to undertake practical classes in Health and Physical Education, if beneficial.

About You:

  • Have an enthusiastic approach to education, focusing on developing skills and underpinning knowledge.
  • Show a willingness and capacity to contribute to student wellbeing.
  • Be prepared to participate in extracurricular activities.
  • Be open to teaching in flexible learning spaces.
  • Hold current registration as a teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the ethos of independent schooling, adhering to our Child Safety Policy. Employees must comply with any health directions made under the Public and Environmental Health Act 2011 during employment.
