We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer Trainee to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring high-quality services are delivered across heavy industrial and mining sites.

You will be working closely with experienced technicians to complete equipment condition inspections, gaining valuable experience using ECA (Eddy Current Array) and UT (Ultrasonic Testing). You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills through competency and qualification training modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist experienced technicians completing equipment condition inspections on heavy industrial and mine sites
  • Gain experience using ECA (Eddy Current Array), UT (Ultrasonic Testing)
  • Complete assigned competency and qualification training modules
  • Ensure equipment is set up, calibrated and functional for each inspection
  • Conduct housekeeping and equipment cleaning duties
  • General maintenance tasks as instructed by qualified trades
  • Prepare post site visit reports, time sheets and expenses after site visits
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical background and aptitude with experience using power and hand tools
  • Committed to developing a career in the mining industry
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to undertake repetitive work whilst maintaining high attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees, both verbally and written
  • Positive and proactive approach to safety
  • Ability to travel to remote areas for periods of time at short notice
  • Working at heights and confined space tickets desirable
