Residential Construction Assistant

Dellwood Constructions is a boutique residential design and construct building company. We specialise in high-quality home renovations, extensions, and custom builds. Our team of experienced builders and project managers are passionate about delivering outstanding results for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project Managers and Site Supervisors with day-to-day site operations on residential projects.
  • Engage in project planning, familiarise yourself with schedules, and gain exposure to residential construction standards.
  • Attend project meetings and liaise with architects, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Participate in site inspections, safety checks, quality assessments, and project documentation.
  • Support the procurement of materials and coordination with suppliers.
  • Acquire practical, on-site skills and understanding of residential construction practices.
Required Qualities and Skills:
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Preliminary knowledge of construction concepts (residential experience a bonus but not essential).
  • Passion for residential construction and the building industry.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a dynamic team.
