About Us
Azura Fresh is a leading Australian manufacturer and distributor of ready-to-eat sandwiches, supplying major retailers nationwide, including 7-Eleven Australia. With a commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence, we are looking for an experienced and driven Site Manager to lead our QLD/Luscombe production facility.
About the Role
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our QLD manufacturing site, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational efficiencies are met. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with strong people management skills and a keen eye for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all site operations, including production, quality, safety, and logistics.
Drive operational efficiencies and ensure cost-effective manufacturing practices.
Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
Oversee workforce planning, rostering, and labour management.
Work closely with senior management on strategic initiatives and business growth.
Manage budgets, KPIs, and operational reporting.
Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
About You
Proven experience as a Site Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role in food manufacturing or FMCG.
Strong understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, SQF, or equivalent).
Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience in driving team performance.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience in cost control and budgeting.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
