We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Engineering Training Supervisor. This is a mid-senior level position that requires strong experience in aviation engineering training, with a passion for developing people and maintaining high compliance standards.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and delivering training requirements to ensure our Services Engineering staff are qualified and compliant for their particular role.

This involves preparing and conducting internal training courses for targeted audiences, sourcing external training courses, venues, and resources in line with company objectives, and liaising with internal subject matter experts for course currency and development.

The individual will also be responsible for drafting and updating manuals and training guides, maintaining company training records and equipment, and keeping up to date with current trends and developments associated with the aviation industry.

Additionally, they will promote and maintain safety, security, OH&S, and environmental compliance in line with our standards and state law.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent qualification in adult education)
  • Aircraft Maintenance Trade or CASA Part 66 Cat B licence
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills
  • Ability to be inventive in designing and implementing training packages
  • Strong computing skills (Microsoft Office suite)
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise work commitments
  • Recent experience developing and delivering Engineering related training courses
  • Thorough understanding of CASR Parts 145 and 147
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and Authoring Software
  • Experience with Embraer E190 and Fokker F70/100 (highly desirable)
