Do you have the experience to lead a team of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in aviation maintenance and engineering management? We are seeking an experienced leader to control, organize, plan, and supervise all engineering activities, ensuring the highest standard of regulatory compliance.

About The Role

The successful candidate will possess a current CASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 & C Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence. A minimum of ten (10) years' experience as a LAME in aviation maintenance and engineering management and coordination is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tooling, procurement, records management, and training.
Requirements
  • Possess a current CASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 & C Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.
  • Minimum ten (10) years' experience as a LAME in aviation maintenance and engineering management and coordination.
  • Advanced knowledge of current CASA regulatory legislation as it relates to CAR 30 and/or Part 145 maintenance organisation.
  • Previous experience as a Responsible Manager Engineering/Chief Engineer within a CAR 30 or Part 145 Maintenance Organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team in an aviation organisation.
  • Experience using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Desirable Skills
  • Project management experience.
  • Competent with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Note: In compliance with CASA Drug and Alcohol Management Plan requirements, the preferred applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment testing and participate in the QGAir Drug and Alcohol Management Program.
